Mr. Ahmad Ali

Ahmad Ali is an Orthopaedic consultant who has been practicing Trauma and orthopaedic surgery since 1993. He joined Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS Trust  in 2003.

He was trained in Oxford and Sheffield and on the Northwest high surgical training program. As his training was gained and built up in three Wide regions, this gave him a broad experience and insight into managing complex orthopaedic conditions. 

Mr Ali spent one year as a knee fellow where he had the opportunity to develop his specialized skills in the management of complex knee problems including multiple ligament reconstruction and primary as well as revisions knee replacement.

This focused training, was enhanced by the surgical experience he gained overseas, in addition to the fellowship he served in two major specialized units in Canada [London Ontario & Toronto]. This experience was consolidated during the time he spend as a knee specialist at Oldchurch, Harold wood, King George and  Queens hospital, where he has been involved extensively in research and teaching and at the same time leading the departmental academic activities, and has initiated several clinical audit & research projects.

Mr Ali’s current practice encompasses all aspects of surgery of the knee, including Computer guided Total and partial knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and multiple ligament reconstruction.
